Formed in early 2023 in Kiel, Germany, Cold Jay Turner started their journey with playing their first gigs everywhere they liked to play and needed to be.
Rooted in indie rock and folk music, Cold Jay Turner draws inspiration from a diverse range of influences. Lead singer Jakob Rauno, deeply inspired by the likes of Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, and the British indie rock heroes of the 2000s, leads the band’s sound with tales from life, time and mortality.
The band’s lining up with Tobias Lemberger on guitar, Jonas Beier on saxophone and blues harp, Carl Reiter on bass, and Max Julius Kunz on drums.
Cold Jay Turner is gearing up to release their first Single in the summer of 2024.
